Uatakassí tends to avoid it, but there are a few *roots* that can be
either nouns or verbs. However, no noun or verb root can stand alone in
Uatakassí, so they always take nominal or verbal affixes. An example is
the root _safí_ (birth; give birth to/be born) - citation forms would be
_uasafí_ (birth) for the noun (with the gender 6 singular prefix ua-),
and _su-safíuki_ (I am giving birth) for the verb (with the prefix su-,
antipassive, and suffixes -u, first person singular absolutive and -ki,
nonpunctual aspect).
