Not to be picky, but can a plug be shameless when you make no personal
profit from it? Or do you count the waffy feeling you get inside as

I used a discussion medium to advertise blatantly.  It's a plug.

"Shameless" in this context means (afaigaffiahw) that I would normally feel some
kind of social courtesy not to do so, yet they were good enough to overcome
that, and any shame I felt was not expressed.

And here was I, not so very long ago, criticising usenet users for tending to
in-fight.  Ho-hum.  See how the mighty have fallen, folks, special show tonite
only.  In the red corner, alt.usage.english, in the blue corner, one lone
conlanger.  I shan't speculate as to the exact identity of that conlanger, but I
