The arabs controlled Spain as far north as a line stretching from
about Oporto, Vila Real, Zamora, Valladolid, north of Soria, Tudela,
Huesca, Lérida, to between Tarragona and Barcelona.
So no, the entire peninsula wasn't conquered. If it had been then the
Kingdom of Castile would never have been able to pair with Aragon and
drive the Moors south.
