Uatakassi would put "brother" in the ergative case and "wife" would have
genitive *and* ergative case on it, thus wife-genetive-ergative, while
"spear" would be absolutive, and "father" genitive (or you could think
of it as genetive-absolutive, but absolutive is a null ending). When
one noun modifies another, it takes the case that shows that
relationship, and also takes the same case as the modified noun, hence,
"wife" has genitive to show it's relationship to "brother" and ergative
to "agree" with "brother"
