Here's the passage:

Long ago, in a quiet village in France, there lived a miller.  That miller
had three sons and two daughters.  The oldest son wanted to become a knight
one day, but his father had no money to buy a horse.  The middle son wanted
to become a monk, but the nearest monastery had no room for him.  The
youngest son didn't know what he wanted to do.  We don't know what the
daughters wanted, because stories in those days didn't talk about such
things.

Word-to-word translation:

In past-remote, well, professional-grind dwells town-small that-quiet in
Country-France. Professional-grind this has-three child-male and two
child-female. In some day, well, child-male who-most old, well, wants become
military-horse with restriction father-his not has-money buy one horse even.
Child-male who-old-middle wants become servant-prayer with restriction
institution-prayer that-most close, well, not has-position which-to-him.
Child-male who-most young, well, not know that which wants become-it. We not
know that which two child-female want-it, well, with cause stories of
time-past that, well, not mention things those.

This one conlang has a main flaw: all the words sound the same...

kumisa: (ut)most
kumusa: know
kusumi: want

pimiki: center, middle
pumuku: become, grow

pinusu: dwell
pinusa: three
pasina: horse
pisami: even
pasimi: story
pusamu: occupation, position (job)
