The "official" estimate is around 30,000, but nobody's sat and trawled
through the dictionary to get an exact count.

That page is dead, because the server died. It's now at
http://www.talossa.com/glhetg/. The whole Talossa.com site is being redone,
so there's not much up yet; as far as language stuff goes the only thing
currently up is the dictionary (in PDF format). I'm working on it when I'm
able to squeeze out a few spare minutes here and there.
