Thanx, David! Great website! ::eagerly adds to collection:: I was gonna suggest the Koko website as well (koko.org)... Koko is the Highland gorilla who uses ASL (American Sign Language) and does really terrific colourful fingerpaintings as does her gorilla-pal Michael (makes one wonder if Jackson Pollock was re-incarnated as Michael... if so, Michael seems to be doing a better job this time around with colours IMHO ;) - brighter, more coordinated and somehow "meaningful"... probably the fact that Michael is not an emotionally-unstable drunkard like Pollock influences the artwork.) Overheard in a coffeehouse in the People's Republic of Berkeley: "... Anthropocentricism - like blatant sexism - is _soooooo_ mid-20th century..." "Late 20th-" "_Whaaaateveeeer_..." --- Hanuman Zhang, _Gomi no sensei_ [Master of junk], part-time animal art critic, & eavesdroppin' Gatherer of Extremely Enlightening Knowledge (or GEEK, for short ;) ••• "To live is to scrounge, taking what you can in order to survive. So, since living is scrounging, the result of our efforts is to amass a pile of rubbish." - Chuang Tzu/Zhuangzi, China, 4th Century BCE "The most beautiful order is a heap of sweepings piled up at random." - Heraclitus, Greece, 5th Century BCE Ars imitatur Naturam in sua operatione.
