First, "Topalwagit" for the "nice work" comment.
Excellent point on the longwindedness(?) of Elasin's
greetings. On reflection, I should probably term what
I've done "Classical Elasin" or "Formal Elasin." Much
the same way that English has "It is a pleasure to
make your acquaintance" and "Hi!," what I'm putting
together now is the "It is a pleasure..." sorts of
phrases. I'm thinking of doing some vernaculars and
dialects (Telenin, Parelin, Varalsan) but that's in
the future.
For example, Aulemwatu shemul ebek! "It pleases me to
see you" could be condensed to something like Aulemwa
("pleasing") or even Au! in the vernacular.
Incidentaly, I took a look at your Ayeri site. Very
nice front page! It makes me want to delve in deeper.
