Well, I don't know where you're located, and Mr. Moreland-Stringham may be
correct as to the tribe's stance on their language, but there IS a book in
Howard University's stacks on Kickapoo. (Howard University is in
Washington, D.C.) In general, H.U. has a very good selection of grammars
and studies of African, North and South American, Subcontinental Asian and
Polynesian languages in addition to the "standard" fare. (Including Cree,
Menomini and Ojibwe).
