Bonjour!
You definitely need a pictogram language, as they are infinitely cool. The
question is, do you want to be able to read it in its own language of
description? If not, just start making up pictograms (Use Glypher, gotta
love it, it's on Gary's site...great program!).
If you do want to be able to read it, make up a language first. Right. So.
Now you're ready. Make up some grammar (i.e. how do you know if
something's a verb, noun, etc.)
Of course, if it is a personal/journal language, there's no need to
specify exact grammar (I've written down at least one sentence that anyone
else would think was "The snow is funny and sled"!)
