Perhaps. Having observed the oft-vitrolic posts re: IALs on AUXLANG, I've
gone from hopeful to now questioning whether any real widespread use and
acceptance of an IAL will ever exist.

x years ago>. It's no were near as universal as mine!"
I end up skipping a lot of posts until they stop whacking each other on the
head with their IAL dollies.
