Lyric Translation Challenge

    OK, here's a translation challenge of my own.
    This is particularly suited for those who have defined poetic forms and
methods for your own conlangs, but if you haven't then that's OK.
    The text to be translated is the lyric to my song, "Never Kick a
Sleeping Tiger" (see the link below).  The challenge is to not only
translate it into your own conlang, but also to (a) keep it singable with
the melody (most of you will have to listen to the song) and (b) arrange
the words in such a way that the lyrics continue to be a legitimate poetic
form in your conlang, whether that means rhyming, number of syllables, or
whatever.
    If you need to change some of the specifics of the meanings in order to
make either or both of these requirements work, then go ahead -- as long as
the general meaning is the same.
