In some parts of the world, children grow up with as many as *5*
different languages, and, who know?, it may be possible for even more.
IMHO, to teach one's child one's conlang would require a fixity that I'm
not sure I'd want to have in my conlang! I tend to make changes fairly
often. On the other hand, it would be nice to have a language which you
could speak to your child to which no one else would understand! Not
having to worry about people eavesdropping on your conversation.
