And, of course, it does nothing for the more subtle abuse of simply
taking someone for granted, which may even use polite phrasings, but
still be abusive in that the person is not assumed to have any choice.
And even in direct mean-spiritedness, one can be rather sarcastic and
use very polite language to insult.
