The best shot we have is Esperanto; it's the only one that's widely accepted
among people who might actually use an IAL.  Of course there are better ones.
If I ever get my own IAL done, then I guess that might be my favorite ;)

It's like this however.  In the US there are only two major political parties,
Democrats and Republicans, at least as of now.  The matter is whether I vote for
the candidate I like best who happens to be independent or in a "third party",
which is pretty much a wasted vote, or vote for the candidate of one of the two
major parties, which would have a chance of winning.  In the 2000 election, we
had four nationwide candidates, two from the major parties, the other two being
a Green Party candidate and one from the Reform Party.  So unless things change
radically in the near future, I have to go with E-o.

(If you're in the US, then I'm obviously preaching to the choir here...)
