I once contemplated an alien lang in which the speakers could make two
simultaneous sound-streams, perhaps having two mouths. I never
developed it, but one possibility I considered was to make one mouth
give content words, like nouns and verbs, and the other to give
information about the structure of the sentence, the equivalent of cases
and the like.
