Via {tlhIngan}, which is presumably {tlhIng} + {ngan}, i.e.
"inhabitant of Kling [district]".
(The {ng} of {ngan} seems to assimilate a preceding alveolar or velar
nasal; cg. {vulqangan}, {verengan}, and {'orghengan}, so a bimorphemic
{tlhIngan} makes sense to me.)
