"Russky", to my ear, is still pejorative, jocular at best, but it
smacks of World War II and the Iron Curtain, like "frog" and "kraut".
Now that we've all, in theory, kissed and made up, there's a little
less sting to these (and certainly less piquant than some other
ethnic epithets), but I doubt "russky" will ever gain currency, or at
the very least for the next couple of generations.
