FWIW, for "juvenile delinquent (male/female)" my Indonesian dictionary
(vintage l960s) gives _crossboy, crossgirl_. Can't say I ever heard or read
either one, however. They've given an amusing twist to "playboy"-- it means
"homosexual(ity)"-- one temple in Bali had paintings depicting the
Afterlife, when I asked why one fellow was undergoing a particularly nasty
torture, the guide explained, "suka main playboy" -- likes to play/practice
_playboy_. Ironic, given the relaxed attitude of the Balinese in such
matters.
