Is that by Velikovsky? If so, his theories are pretty much consideredto = be at the very extreme fringe of not just IE linguistics, but science itself, so be warned. (Not that I deny or support the above statement, however).

Not just. I have a page for the Mimung Society on one of mysites; it's = at: <http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~twier/mimungsociety/mimungglottalic.html> which, in discussing the Glottalic hypothesis, talks about the really str= ange root structure that PIE would have to have if the traditional reconstruct= ion scheme is right.
