It's probably easiest, in the long run, to go here:

http://listserv.brown.edu/archives/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=conlang&A=1

and get a password - you can then change things through the web
interface.  (Note that if you intend to come back it's probably better
to set your account to NOMAIL than to unsubscribe entirely).


If for one reason or another you don't want to use the web interface,
the whole process can be handled by email.  Send a mail with body text

info refcard

to listserv@listserv.brown.edu and you'll get instructions on how to
do all sorts of things.
