Well, i am from California (central). I noticed that when i say could, i dont round my lips. When i say wood, they purse when i say the w but relax for the rest of the word. I'm also wondering if people from other states notice an accent when they talk to Californios? I don't, but then again people from Brooklyn don't think they have an accent either =).
