--Oh, this is simply awful! :P I didn't get it--I
thought, "How is this supposed to be funny if you
don't know the languages?"

"Let me grade your paper again," Tom remarked.
"I'm from Indiana," Tom stated.
"I should never have learned the telegraph a second
time," Tom said remorsefully.
"I milked the cow," Tom uttered.
"I did not say I was in favor of that!" Tom exclaimed.
"So I'm standing in the middle of the target," Tom
said on the spot.
"Oh, I want a hot dog!" Tom said with relish.
"And a beer, too!" Tom said with gusto.
