Dreadful? DREADFUL??!! Hey, discovering the cause for those triple
vowels was one of the first things I wanted to do when I learned
Romanian.

Yeah, but it's not all fun and vowels. Alongside words like 'oaie'
"sheep" are words like 'zdrobesc'."I crush". Actually, that mix is one
of the things I love about the language.
Romanian is essentially a Romance language trying really hard to blend in
with the Slavic languages around it.
