Gladilatian has eight conjunctions. Each one consists of two words, one which precedes the final conjunct and another which precedes all of the others. They are: fna...wo exactly one of hra...wo or (inclusive) la...wo even though ... (and ...) still ... ma...we if ... (and ...) then ... ra...we (similarity) sa...we (apposition) xa...we because ... (and ...) therefore ... za...we and so "za sot za wear we wehesnekar" means "the sun, the moons, and the stars". "Fna...wo" applied to two conjuncts is equivalent to an exclusive or. "Sa...we" is used to connect the different parts of a name. =========================================================================== Dennis Paul Himes <> dennis@himes.connix.com homepage: http://www.connix.com/~dennis/dennis.htm Gladilatian page: http://www.connix.com/~dennis/glad/lang.htm Disclaimer: "True, I talk of dreams; which are the children of an idle brain, begot of nothing but vain fantasy; which is as thin of substance as the air." - Romeo & Juliet, Act I Scene iv Verse 96-99
