They are for me, too, though it worked from another computer.

I think the main problem is that Paul is using some letters that
aren't in the Arabic or Persian languages, and that, therefore, have
less rendering support in browsers or OS text-out routines.

As far as I can tell, the letters are in "normal" form, not
specifically in isolated form, so it's just your renderer that isn't
managing to pick the appropriate form. (Or it may not even have the
appropriate form of one or more letters in your fonts?)
