I n Rihana-ye, color words are normally formed by adding the suffix -li
(which by itselkf is an adjective meaning bright/shining) to nouns representing the
(approximate) intended color, e.g.:
tali sky-color, blue
gali plant-color, green
yawali night-color, black
bamali blood-color, red (scarlet)
famali milk-color, white
lilali gold-color, golden yellow
zali sun-color, tawny (the Rihana-ye world's sun is redder than ours) usually
is
nali earth-color, brown
 etc.
