Is that then my interest in anime that made me encounter the prefix "nippo-" quite often? ;)))) I admit reading it mostly in French texts though. Note that Muke asked for a (pseudo-)Latinate prefix, not necessarily a true Latinate one ;))) . "Nippo-" fits the criterion IMHO ;))) .
