The freeware version doesn't do real-time streaming audio or video (not
that I'd have any use for them) and a few other things that aren't
necessary for my purposes.
Any synthesized quality of the Cispa samples (Cispa is the name of the
language, the people who speak it are Zaik) is probably a result of the
filtering and compression applied to the sound. But I'm sure it would be
easier to get alien voices if I had a vocoder. I wonder if there are any
good software simulations of vocoders out there?
