I suppose Wa GMP isn't the Colt Delta Elite silver color model, as
one Google hit seems to indicate. Could you explain?
Curiously, the well-known Bartleby list does not contain any of the
roots that I have used. Maybe they are viewed as extensions or
derivations of more basic roots or something. I have lifted most if
not all of them from Niels Åge Nielsen's book of Danish etymologies,
the first etymology book I got my hands on, and read to bits. It's
very lucid and well presented I think in comparison to other books of
the same sort.
I used the following forms: *gha- for ducks, *ker-, *kor-, *kerg-,
*krek-, *(s)k(o)reuk-, *(s)k(o)rauk- for crow-like birds, *ge:u- for
gulls, *ga:u- for frogs, *ghrem- for fierce small animals, *ghro-,
*ghra- for fierce big animals, and *kwel- for squeaking animals. Many
of these I think are found in several IE languages as names for the
various animals too.
