Hey, welcome to the list, Matt. I'm glad you decided to join the list. I'm
sure you will get more than enough help here. I hope you find this list as
friendly if not much more so than the straightdope message board (where me
and Matt post messages). Like I told Matt, I had no idea that he was a
conlanger. My message in reply to his email to me explained this list, so
I think i was persuasive enough to get him to join ;).

You know Matt, I love seeing different writing systems. I'd really like to
see yours whenever you get a copy up. And yeah, i got excited over your
Latin transcription, because i had not seen someone give c the /S/ value
and edh the /dj/ value before in a conlang ;).

BTW, I use c to represent /tS/, and q for /?/ in Saalangal:

Ahh yes, Saalangal also has this feature as well. Something i like about
it is having the two forms you can be specific about which we you are
talking about.

Well, you have more info about your culture's land than I have on mine
(well, nothing). I've been working on a map of the archipelago (which
allows me to create some dialects). I also need to go through conculture's
archives and find all the posts i've written on the Saalangal culture.
