The Kasshi's "Week" had a similar origin. However, unlike your Senjecans,
they did not adopt a fixed, equal-length week. Instead, each month is
divided into four quarters (of fixed, but not equal, length). Thus, they
have 6-day "weeks" and 7-day "weeks".
When they adopted a solar calendar, the quarters were revised, but they
still remained variable in length.
