You should check out Harry Harrison's 'West of Eden', where the language
of the Yilanè (constructed by the well-known Germanicist and
Tolkienologist Tom Shippey) has gestures as an integral part of the
language. What's good about the book is that it has a special appendix
on languages, in good ol' LotR tradition.
