Oh, that is, of course, also sad. Programming interfaces does not
seem to be easy.
Nevertheless, independently of whether the misdirected post are due to
a broken Yahoo interface, it holds that that interface is not
officially supported for posting. There is no-one who has a password
anymore for the Yahoo admin account so maintainance is impossible.
And Yahoo is not really easy to talk to.

Exactly.
It is currently left in place because some people say they like it for
reading the list. No problem with that, that's perfectly ok. But
wrt. posting, it definitely does not interact well with Listserv at
Brown.edu. The latest problem I am aware of is that Listserv uses
only one post counter for all posts stemming from Yahoo, instead of
using an individual one for each poster. Dunno whether that problem
is fixed by now.
Anyway, let's get back to conlanging, this is just a sad story about
broken technology.
