I think I've mentioned that I passed up the opportunity to dine on dog. We
were up in a tribal area (Toraja), and the son of our guest-house lady came
up and "Psst, mau makan anjing?" It turned out the natives were have a feast
somewhere. Unfortunately we'd just returned from a more than adequate meal
at a Chinese lady's house.

Well, as I said, garlic, onion and spices....
That's why I always buy kosher hot dogs. As their ads say, "We have to
answer to a higher authority."
A friend of mine used to be book-keeper at the local turkey processing
plant.....after one visit to the factory floor, she refused ever to visit it
again. (That job didn't last long.)
