CHAT: Knock once for yes...

Hello, I'm a beginning (? more on this later) conlanger, who's been
lurking on this list for a few weeks, trying to keep up with as many
threads as possible while struggling to be a UNIX sysadm (well, it's
better than *working* for a living! :-)

The reason I'm writing is that I'm not sure my posts can be seen,
so please answer via private email if you can read this.  My own
posts get delivered back to me as part of the squirt from the
listserver, but I'm still skeptical...
