There are others on the list who can answer that question much better than
I can.  I studied linguistics in college simply because I wanted to, not
because it had any practical purpose.  I am not certain that there is much
you can do with only a Bachelors in linguistics.  I think you need an
advanced degree to be marketable.  Personally, I am a stay-at-hom mom who
homeschools her two children.  The linguistics background is rather usefull
for teaching my children to read, etc.  It also helps in teaching them
foreign language.
