Nothing strange. I'm not a linguistician, but I do like IE best. For conlangs, I'm concentrating on Kerno (Romance) and Talarian (somewhere between IE and Hititte). I recently posted a sketch of Queranarran.

About IE? There is a lòt of information written about this family. You could start reading now? :)
