Given that rtemmu sees the world in terms of processes,
the rate at which those processes change seems like
an important thing to take into consideration. So important,
it seemed to me when creating rtemmu, that I decided
that the lang needed to grammatically express it.
The rest, as they say, is history! (Actually, it's more
like trying to hold onto a greased tiger by the tail:
ie just enough to annoy it, but not enough to get a good
grasp of it! ;-) )
Unlike most langs, where things like tense, aspect, etc
remain unchanged over a whole clause, if not an entire
sentence, in rtemmu, rates of change and outlook
(subjective/objective) can differ from word to word!
(And so can tense and aspect! But that's a whole
'nother ball of worms! :-) )
Considering that, in fully expressed rtemmu,
the speaker must grammatically express his/her
own rate of (objective or subjective) change
before every word denoting a process, and that
this may also differ from word to word, things can get
nicely complicated very quickly! :-)
For the sake of (relative ;-) ) brevity,
rtemmu generally allows one to drop
redundant markers, including rate-of-change markers!
(Of course, one then signals emphasis of various types on
various words by which redundant markers one chooses
to retain! :-) )
