When I'm writing (I'm left handed), the paper is straight up and down, and
when I write right to left, it is still straight up and down. When I'm
doing left to right calligraphy, however, I turn the paper 90 degrees so
that the line starts at the top of my point of view and heads towards the
bottom. This way the strokes are being pulled with a pen where they ought
to be.
