Thank you ::bows humbly:: In fact, I am making gomiilego with the idea of
incorporating it into my sci-fi writing. I have the vague idea of a future
after Global Warming causes world-wide flooding of coastal areas and the
beginnings of the New Ice Age. (That would also explain why Dutch is an
important "factor" in Gomiilego - the Dutch have a long glorious history of
fighting the sea and the elements.)

Well, now it >is!).
Oh it will... I am getting the phonology and orthography "down" (stable
and workable) first before starting to cobble together a basic vocabulary.
I have couple of books on Japanese onomatopoeia that will be invaluable
resources. (I think most of the adverbs and some of the adjectives of
GomiLego will be onomatopoetic).

Jan, thanx for the sly inference that I am more multilingual than I am ;)
Maybe part of the reason that GomiLego has several words for things like
"trash" and "art"... during its pidgin phase this was a linguistic strategy,
but as it stablized and expanded, these words gained different meanings and
usages (i.e. _gomii_ - from Japanese "gomi" - has a higher aesthetic (and
paracultural) value than mere _dzhaank_ /dZA:nk/ "junk [trash]" or _kaka_
/ka.ka/ "[unrecyclable] shit").
