Curiously enough, this is a topic I've been thinking about a lot,
recently. There are certain Dutch authors, that have been at least
as creative and inventive as Lewis Carroll, and I was wondering how
to do things like that in Denden.
The answer is of course that I can't: if I stumble upon a likely
sounding word I'll take it, give it a real meaning and be thankful
for the inspiration! And I wonder whether the Charyans have that special
sense of humour. On the whole, I think they do, though. Are there people
who can play games of language at all in/with their conlang? Or even
tell witty jokes?
