I would tend to say, whatever one you viscerally like best. Unscientific,
aren't I?

For my money, I like E the best, followed closely by D. Keep in mind that
this is *purely* visceral and is based partly on the fact that I like /v/ as
a sound, irrationally.

For E: 1a, 2a, 1000a or 1000d
For D: 1f, 2c, 1000b
