And, I wonder if you still remember I told you once that I had written
a story, in Swedish, about a twelfth-century Andrew of Rocester who
invented Middle English as a political project? I also had a Latinist
Father Raymond who benevolently tried to dissuade him, of course
seeing the Latinization of England as more desirable and a wholly
fictional Robert de Werre who saw linguistic apartheid as desirable.
As for Vista it truly is vice XP: I got a new machine and there's no
way to get XP to handle its hardware! I'm using Ubuntu as much as I
can...
