Hi Christophe, Well, maybe you'll think I want to convince to use linux, which is absolutely not the case. But please note that some file sharing software also exist for Linux, even if i admit they are under less development and less user-friendly :((. However, scanning is pretty easy : I have a SuSE 8.0 (and it was already working with 7.3) and all I needed at first start was to insert a CD to install Xsane :)) (on my parents' computer, I still don't have any scanner, but my birthday is on October, 15th LOL). For watching movies, it depends on the kind of movies, but i use aviplay for .avi and noatun for mpeg. And all works pretty fine :). And I swear I am not a linux power user, I use it as a workstation (with just a little bit of java and a very very little bit of C).
