- hmmm... Dááni Wír /d&:ni wi:r/ (/r/ = tap) Names (unless they're really long) can only have one accented (and therefore lengthened) vowel. Rokbeigalmki's only R sound is the dental/alveolar tap/flap, and the retroflex glide is much closer to that than to /G/ {GH}. The reason i used that for Christophe's name is because the French R is closer to /G/ than to /r/ (flap/tap). The accented {AA} is a single vowel, [&], lengthened by stress. The Rokbeigalmki {IH} /I/ is high and central, if i'm pronouncing Wier correctly it sounds much closer to the Rokbeigalmki {I} /i/. Déní Wihgh would be pronounced /dE:ni: wIG/. -Stephen (Steg) "can't think of a sig"
