It is certainly possible.
In addition to the programs mentioned in Henrik's post, there's High
Logic.com's "Font Creator Program" that creates TTF's. I found it relatively
easy to use (considering that I'm not terribly computer-literate). It's
somewhat expensive, but there's a 30-day trial, which is OK if you can do
all your work within that period; it becomes inoperative after 30 days,
though I understand there are ways around that :-) But your font will end
up in the font folder, and will appear in the list with MS Word (or other WP
program). At last reports, it only works with Windows.
