When in doubt, always assign variants to different dialects! :-)
E.g. in my lang Sohlob *ki developed to /ki\/ in one dialect,
/ts\i/ in another and /si/ in a third.
Likewise /i\/ merged with /i/ in the /ts\i/ dialect, so that
it later got /ki/ [ci] back through the back door...
