The name I gave to the system that treats the agent and direct
object the same but the subject of an intransitive verb differently
is a duative-unitive system. Someone who read my website
concocted a very, very interesting system that I haven't described
on the page yet in which, essentially, there is no case marking,
but valency reduction is marked on the nouns. I'll probably put
it up some time next weekend.
