A definite no. Only ascii can claim to have full unicode compatibility without some intelligent conversion proggie working in the background. Incidentally, a good unicode text editor can be had at: http://www.sharmahd.com/unipad Windows only, and currently no support for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, many other very obscure sets, and no intelligent bidirectional support. But it will handle anything in European alphabets, and a good many others. Worth a look, and it is a small download. --- Fabian May this missive repay the kindness of my patrons. May it mitigate the sufferings of the lost and the damned. May all that read it find their hearts turned towards Truth and Honour. and in so doing, repay me for the ardours of my labour.
